Not really a review. But just a couple of badly written opinions I have after watching it. It's watchable and tons of people seem to be enjoying it... but I'm not sure it hold up as well as Luke Cage, Daredevil, and Jessica Jones.
-I don't really care that Danny Rand was cast as a white dude but if I had to choose anyone to play Iron Fist after watching the series, it would definitely be Lewis Tan. He appears in episode 8 for about 10 minutes and somehow became my favorite actor who wasn't Rosario Dawson.
-Rosario Dawson (Claire Temple) ain't havin' any of your sh**. She's in every Marvel Netflix series but I loved her just little more in this one because there were points where she just realizes she's surrounded by overpowered lunatics.
-Joy Meachum kinda, sorta sucks. Well Ward does too... but I warmed up to him because he hates everything.
-David Wenham is awesome. I don't even have a reason. I just like the guy.
-Marvel... it's okay... you can open up. We don't care people get impaled on spikes in the same universe that Captain America scolds Iron Man for using PG-13 language... Just please stop calling the GIANT PORTAL RAINING ALIEN SLUGS FROM THE SKY "The Incident" AND THE HULK "That Big Green Dude" Avoiding the MCU altogether would be fine. But constantly referencing that you're in it while avoiding actual acknowledgment is like retelling the same joke but never reaching the punchline >:/
-I'm super exciting about The Defenders.
